Dr Shamala Sundram, a microbiologist from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) has been isolating and developing special strains of Trichoderma fungi to be used against Ganoderma since 2010.
True Trichoderma Technology Sdn Bhd started collaborating with MPOB in 2018 on producing the selected Trichoderma strains at a large scale for the oil palm plantation industry. |
On 5th August 2020, MPOB handed True Trichoderma Technology Sdn Bhd the license to produce the selected trichoderma strains commercially.
